The state or quality of being efficient, or the ability to accomplish something with the least waste of time and effort while building competency in performance of your workforce is what this course is designed to facilitate with delegates: effective application of efficiency tools to reduce waste and minimize variation; developing business operations that are repeatable and reproducible with minimal process variation (Lean).
Business Process Optimization & Improvement (CBPOI) is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes, to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of performance such as cost, quality, service, and speed. CBPOI spans a continuum of process change from Incremental improvement and business process redesign to transformational business process re-engineering. Incremental improvement and business process redesign is successful in departmental and cross-departmental initiatives that have specific tactical objectives. CBPOI advocates that enterprises return to the basics and reexamine their very roots and aim for total reinvention with initiatives that disrupt and transform business process - workflows, roles, business policies and procedures, supporting technology and underlying business rules. This requires new ways of thinking – doing new things in new ways - to achieve breakthrough results in organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
